About the Author

Ashok Kumar Singh lives in north India. Some of his ancestors were elephant hunters during the British raj. He loved reading animal stories but realized that very few present day authors wrote about them. Authors were more interested in writing science fiction. No author followed Kipling's story telling style. People have forgotten Jim Corbett. Children are only reading science fiction. What will happen to mother nature? Forests are disappearing and the earth will soon become bald. So most animals will soon be extinct. To fill the gap Ashok decided to write about them and their plight. This is why he wrote the 'Great White Hunter' series and other animal stories.
