AI & Robotics TRIZ introduces an original methodology inspired by the Theory of Inventive Problem Solving (TRIZ), adapting decades of systematic contradiction-resolution thinking to the world of machine learning, generative AI, autonomous robots, cybersecurity, and enterprise automation. Rather than accepting compromise as the price of progress, the book equips engineers, architects, and technology leaders with a structured method for identifying the real conflict behind a problem and designing solutions that improve multiple objectives at once.
Across five parts, readers move from the foundations of contradiction-driven thinking, through the core engineering principles governing AI and robotic systems, into a detailed catalogue of over 150 real-world contradictions spanning AI model development, robotics engineering, autonomous systems, enterprise AI, and advanced integration challenges. Each contradiction follows a consistent structure: business context, TRIZ-based resolution, applicable inventive principles, expected outcomes, and early warning indicators. This makes the book as useful as a working reference as it is as a cover-to-cover read. A dedicated section of operational playbooks then applies the methodology to realistic scenarios, including AI model failures, robotic incidents, cybersecurity events, and governance challenges. The final part addresses organizational adoption, including governance models, KPIs, and continuous improvement.
Written by Willy Danenberg, an independent consultant and executive advisor specializing in IT governance, cybersecurity, and digital transformation, this book is designed for engineers, architects, technology leaders, consultants, and executives who need practical tools, not just theory, for reconciling innovation with safety, governance, and long-term business value in an era of accelerating AI and robotics adoption.
Praise for the Book
"AI & Robotics TRIZ provides a practical framework for addressing the complex engineering and operational challenges that emerge when artificial intelligence meets real-world deployment. It bridges innovation with disciplined decision-making."
"Rather than discussing artificial intelligence as a collection of isolated technologies, this book demonstrates how systematic contradiction resolution can improve performance, safety, governance, and long-term scalability."
"A valuable resource for executives, engineers, architects, and technology leaders seeking practical methods to resolve competing objectives without sacrificing innovation or operational excellence."
"The combination of TRIZ thinking with modern AI engineering creates a structured methodology for solving problems that traditional optimization techniques often leave unresolved."
"This book successfully connects artificial intelligence, robotics, governance, and systems engineering into a coherent decision-making framework applicable across multiple industries."
"AI & Robotics TRIZ transforms abstract innovation concepts into practical engineering strategies that organizations can apply to improve reliability, explainability, resilience, and operational performance."
"Organizations deploying intelligent systems increasingly face competing technical, operational, ethical, and regulatory objectives. This book offers a systematic approach to resolving those conflicts."
