About the Author: Henry Martyn Robert was an American soldier, general, and, most famously, the author of Robert’s Rules of Order. He wrote the book after being ashamed by how poorly he had run a church meeting. He passed away in 1923.

He writes the Business Ethics Blog, and teaches at the Ted Rogers School of Management, at Ryerson University in Toronto, where he is Director of the Jim Pattison Ethical Leadership Education & Research Program, at the Ted Rogers Leadership Center. He is also a Senior Fellow at Duke University's Kenan Institute for Ethics.

Nancy Walton, PhD, is an Associate Professor in the Daphne Cockwell School of Nursing. She is the author of the textbook Ethics and Issues in Contemporary Nursing and the co-author of an upcoming textbook entitled Critical Thinking for Nurses. Walton is also the co-editor (with Dr. David Hunter at Flinders University in Australia) of the new journal The Research Ethics Journal Review.
