Synopsis:
Rob Roy MacGregor was mythologized by Sir Walter Scott but was very much a fact in the Trossachs of Scotland in the late 17th and early 18th centuries. Scott's romantic image is however, far from the rogue which Nigel Tranter portrays in this classic work.
About the Author: Nigel Tranter was one of Scotland's most successful and prolific authors. Until his death in 2000, he had written over 130 books, most of them historical works set in Scotland, including The Stewart Trilogy, The Bruce Trilogy, and The Story of Scotland.
