This pocket sized edition of this classic book is yours to give a forever home. The following passage is taken from the introduction and shows the beautiful imagery created by the text - I have attained my ideal: I am a roadmender, some say stonebreaker. Both titles are correct, but the one is more pregnant than the other. All day I sit by the roadside on a stretch of grass under a high hedge of saplings and a tangle of traveller?s joy, woodbine, sweetbrier, and late roses. Opposite me is a white gate, seldom used, if one may judge from the trail of honeysuckle growing tranquilly along it. - The Roadmender is an excellent title about enlightenment that deserves a place in your library. Title: The Roadmender Author: Michael Fairless Publisher: Collins Publication Date: Undated Format: Softcover Condition: This book is in good condition for its age, tanned pages with inscription on the inside front cover.
