Paperback. A boy with nothing to lose. A country on the edge of change. In the pre-digital America of the 1990s, Jack is thrown from the comfort of a routine adolescence and onto the open roads of the West, hitchhiking north with nothing but a backpack and the will to keep moving. The miles drag him through wind-scoured deserts, weather-beaten towns, and deep stretches of backcountry where the wrong ride can change everything. From truck-stop counters to half-forgotten main streets, the journey cuts a jagged path through strangers and choices that push him farther from home and deeper into the unknown. Told in lean, unsentimental prose, The Road to In Between is a semi-autobiographical coming-of-age odyssey about escape, risk, and the unpredictable road that shapes who we become. This item is printed on demand. Shipping may be from multiple locations in the US or from the UK, depending on stock availability.
