Item description from seller

An illustrated study on the development of salmon and trout rivers. Illustrated with forty plates and many in text diagrams. Collated complete. A detailed study of the management of river systems for efficient salmon and trout farming, with reference to supply of food, weeding, mud types, hatcheries, diseases, pollution, and much more. Written by Harry Ernest Towner Coston, a British ichthyologist. In the original brown cloth binding. Externally, very smart with light bumping to the extremities and minor fading. Original price-clipped dust wrapper is smart with light shelf wear and chipping. Minor loss to the head and tail of the spine and the odd small closed tear. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very bright and clean with light scattered spotting to the first and last few pages. Very Good.
