This is a Very Good + Copy of this Book in Publisher's richly decorated green cloth boards with gilt titles to both spine and upper coverand with ornate gilt patterned design to both spine and upper cover.Dark green matt endopapers.There is one small and very neat previous owner's inscription to the verso of the half title page.All page edges are in gilt.Binding remains lovely and firm with NO cracking to hinge joins.Illustrated by Edmund J Sullivan with over 60 black and white plates.A lovely example of these two plays by Sheridan and certainly one for the collector as it's uncommon in this condition,8vo (xxvii) 365pp [1896].
