In a world where magic is torn between nature and the self, two brothers stand on opposite sides of a war older than empires-one that will decide the fate of England itself.
869 AD. The Viking Great Heathen Army storms the shores of England, but their true battle isn't for land-it's for balance. Among them rides Steffas, a wielder of forbidden "self-magic," trained not by druids but by desert prophets and Norse skalds. His mission? To destroy a hidden sect of rogue sorcerers gathering beneath Saxon villages-before they ignite an endless magical civil war.
But when his estranged siblings, Edband and Junith, powerful Wiccan witches loyal to earth and element, are taken hostage, old wounds reopen. Once bullies, now allies? Or enemies in disguise?
Weaving real Viking history with secret histories of Ancient Egypt, lost Christian settlers in Iceland, and a forgotten monotheistic cult under Pharaoh Akhenaten, The Witch's Rival redefines fantasy. Here, magic isn't just spells-it's philosophy. Power flows not from gods or nature alone, but from the fifth element: the self.
- A historically grounded epic blending Vikings, Arthurian mysticism, and Egyptian esotericism
- Dual magic systems in ideological conflict-nature vs. self, peace vs. violence, order vs. chaos
- Richly researched timeline spanning 674 AD to 870 AD across England, Iceland, and the Egyptian desert
If you crave fantasy where sorcery has consequences, history breathes magic, and every battle is also a choice of soul-download now and step onto The Other Path.
