They have followed me around my entire adult life and one thing I've been dreading returning home to.
But there's no other place I could possibly call home other than Morris Valley.
My friends and family are there and I'm about to set out on a journey that leaves my wrist aching with phantom pains and coming face-to-face with a man I once feared.
My friends have willingly given him a chance to show he's changed for them, but I'm not sure I can believe it.
No matter if Gage Redford is now a police officer.
I've been a horrible person in my past. But with parents like I had, what choice was I given.
Until one day I had enough and did better for not just myself but my sister as well. I gave up being an ass and started to protect those around me.
But there's still a darkness there that only one person can help eradicate it with her light.
Lilly McArthur is the bright spot in my life, until I open my mouth and all the wrong words come out.
She's back in town and I'm done lettin' her get away. She's about to see the real me whether she wants to or not.
