Synopsis:
When past indiscretions catch up with Charles Redbourne, a minor English landowner, he is propelled from England to Australia, where he plans to make his mark as a naturalist. Jem Poster is director of creative writing at the University of Wales.
Jem Poster, author of Courting Shadows, has worked as an archeologist and is director of creative writing at the University of Wales. He has won first prize in both the Cardiff International Poetry Competition and the Peterloo Poets Open Poetry Competition, as well as one of the Arts Council's annual Writers' Awards. Rifling Paradise is his second novel.
