THIRTEEN-YEAR-OLD RIEDEN REECE HAS ENOUGH PROBLEMS. THEN THE MOON BREAKS.
Readers' Favorite 5-Star Review
"An exciting science fiction adventure filled with strange alien worlds, fast-moving danger, and reality-bending adventure." - Readers' Favorite
Rieden Reece is not exactly having a great year.
His dad is absent. His mom is stressed. School bullies make every day worse. And Ri is pretty sure being thirteen should not feel this complicated.
Then one night, his bedroom shakes, the moon cracks apart, and a bizarre alien creature climbs out of the sky.
So...that's new.
The alien's name is Rozul, and he claims he was sent by a future version of Ri to help save the universe. Unfortunately, Ri has a few questions. Why are adults suddenly walking around with black holes where their heads should be? Why are terrifying enemies hunting him? Why are his own memories missing? And why does saving everything seem to depend on a kid who can barely survive junior high?
Now Ri and Rozul must race through a wildly strange adventure filled with impossible creatures, cosmic danger, lost memories, flying ants, alien weirdness, and one very broken moon.
If Ri fails, the universe could collapse.
If he succeeds, he might finally discover the truth about himself.
Rieden Reece and the Broken Moon is the first book in a funny, fast-paced upper middle grade science fiction adventure series for readers ages 10 and up. Perfect for kids, parents, grandparents, classrooms, and libraries looking for imaginative worlds, lovable characters, emotional heart, laugh-out-loud weirdness, and a thrilling story about courage, resilience, and belief.
Read Rieden Reece and the Broken Moon today and discover the adventure that begins when the sky falls apart.

About the Author
I'm Stephanie, a proud biracial Mexican-American from San Diego with over ten years of experience in the publishing industry. I've read the slush pile for literary agents, edited books for small publishing presses, and collaborated with numerous self-published and agented writers to build their craft and polish their manuscripts. In addition to being a freelance book editor, I write my own YA novels in my spare time--some of which have been published. Basically, it's all books all the time in my world, and I couldn't be happier. Besides books, I love traveling, hiking, swimming, and adventuring in the outdoors. I majored in film production at San Diego State University, and continue to enjoy watching quirky TV shows and cinematic films in my free time. I also play guitar and sing in a community choir. Sometimes I share my music on Instagram, so keep an eye out!
