VG/VG. Book has bumped upper front corner with no associated damage; cloth very clean, sharp and bright with bright titles to front; titles on spine dulled but sharp and clear (all gilt titles and borders deeply set). Binding tight and square, somewhat stiff. Pages stiff with stress creases but no associated damage, toned on somewhat off-quality stock; clean and unmarked with moderate shelvig soil. The somewhat scarce jacket is toned on rear panel, along spine, and around front panel edges with all titles clear and sharp against moderately soiled background. Shallow chip upper spine end just into upper title. 1 3/4" internally tape-repaired closed tear lower front hinge end. Very handsome in Brodart. Non-authorial inscription and info front pastedown.
