Follow the healing allegorical tale that will help you reclaim your life and body from chronic illness.
Chronic illness, anxiety, and pain can leave you feeling as if your body and mind are working against you. Fighting the constant discomfort and emotional strain make even day-to-day life overwhelming. When you’ve tried all the pills and pain management plans traditional medicine has to offer, it’s time to turn inward and find hope.In Rewire Your Wellness, wellness coach Lori Clemmons shares the remarkable tool she used to break free from over 25 years of chronic illness: self-directed neuroplasticity, the brain’s ability to rewire itself and create new neural pathways. Drawing from her own personal recovery, Lori teaches you how to calm your body’s agitated stress response and gently rewire your brain for genuine healing. Told through compassionate storytelling and rich characters, Rewire Your Wellness brings your wellness journey to life by teaching how your emotions, thoughts, and body all play a role in healing.
In this holistic guide to wellness, you’ll discover:
- Methods to use neuroplasticity to calm your overactive limbic system and chronic symptoms through compassionate self-coaching.
- How to create balance across the four key areas of wellness: emotional, physical, mental, and relational.
- The vital role of the limbic system in reducing hypersensitivity to pain, anxiety triggers, and environmental stressors.
- Your Window of Tolerance and how to handle stress without triggering old symptoms or emotional overwhelm using NLP (neurolinguistic programming) and psychology techniques.
- The art of pacing and incremental training so you can make sustainable progress without setbacks and incorporate exercises for overall physical self-care.
You are not a victim of your symptoms. Rewire Your Wellness will show you how to take leadership of your own healing process and reclaim your life with a caring and understanding coach by your side.
