13 pages. Talbot’s account combines settlement experience with travel impressions, covering climate, agriculture, social conditions and the prospects for emigrants. His excursion into the United States in 1823 adds comparative remarks on institutions, manners and the differing pace of development across the border. An authentic standalone article, extracted from a larger volume. Not a reprint or reproduction, but an original work in its own right. Preserved in a modern card cover, prepared for practicality - an unassuming but serviceable presentation that favours function over finery. Size: 12 x 21 cms. Category: Monthly Review; Special Interest. Cosmo Books : 29 years on ABE, 47 years taking care of customers. A bookseller you can rely on. Softcover (Booklet - Unbound Pages).
