For those who are unsettled by what they see around them and want to join in the fight against racist ideologies.
What if everything you thought you knew about race was wrong?
Race is associated with socioeconomic status, social mobility, cultural expression, who we marry, our friends, our internal and social identities, and nearly every aspect of our society-but where did it come from, and why does it persist?
It's time to break free from the myths that divide us-starting now.
Rethinking Race reveals that race has no biological basis. Instead, it was created as a tool of division, determining who holds power and who is denied it. Grounded in research yet accessible, this book unpacks the origins of racial categories and the inequalities they sustain. More importantly, it offers a bold solution: dismantling these artificial divisions to build a more just world.
Are you ready to open your mind to deconstruct the use of race in society?
