As a seminal writing on personal finances for business owners, this book details a step-by-step guide to how an entrepreneur can use their business as a springboard for acquiring and protecting exponential wealth.
You’ve heard the stories of successful businesses failing and their founders undergoing personal financial hardship. This practical guide reveals how to build wealth that remains intact, even when your company faces challenges. Every business owner undergoes significant periods of stress during inevitable business downturns or even changes to personal circumstances. While most entrepreneurs pour everything into their businesses, the wisest build a financial resilience that can withstand inevitable downturns. This book shows you exactly how to do it through presenting a proven three-asset-class framework and step-by-step methods to acquire and maintain wealth during any economic condition. It outlines common financial pitfalls that derail even the most successful business owners and presents a decision-making framework for evaluating new financial opportunities as well as the small, consistent actions that combine into longer-term growth. In this book, you’ll discover:
- How to really understand your definition of success;
- The dashboard you will reference regularly to keep you on course;
- The step-by-step strategy to acquire impenetrable assets;
- The stumbling blocks that trip up the unprepared entrepreneur;
- How to process new information and understand if it fits in your plan;
- How seemingly small decisions have big long-term payoffs.
This book is essential reading for business owners and entrepreneurs who want to protect their personal finances from business fluctuations, seek to build intergenerational wealth beyond their primary business and need practical strategies to navigate financial stress during downturns.
