About the Author
Dr. Firdous Ahmad Malik was born in India and is currently employed by the University of People as an Assistant Professor of Economics (instructor), Department of Management. Currently he is perceiving Post Doctoral research at Amity Dubai University. Before that, he was a research fellow at the National Institute of Public Finance and Policy (NIPFP) in Delhi, India. Prior to this, he was a senior research associate at the O.P. Jindal Global University in Sonipat, Haryana's Jindal Center for the Global South. From Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar University in Lucknow, India, he received his Ph.D. He has a Master's in Economics from the University of Kashmir and an MPhil in Economics from Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar University Lucknow. Microfinance, financial inclusion, and financial literacy are his main areas of study interest. He has articles in journals that are Scopusindexed from Springer, Elsevier, Taylor Francis, and others. Moreover, he has published more than six books which includes the first book on “Financial Inclusion Schemes in India” published by Springer released. His second book, “Financial Behaviour of Urban Destitutes in India,” by Notion Press. Third book, “Health System in Jammu and Kashmir Challenges and Opportunities,” is published by Shineeks. His Fourth book, “Asymmetry of Information and Lending Risk Livelihood Pattern of Street Vendors in India,” is published by Booksclinic. The fifth book, “Linkage Between Interest Rate Policy and Macro Economic Variables Issues and Concerns of Indian Economy,” is published by Booksclinic. The sixth book, “Repatriation Management and Competency Transfer in a Culturally”, is published by Springer. His forthcoming books are Economics of Financial Inclusion to be published by Routledge Publication and Fostering Industry-Academia Partnerships for Innovation-Driven Trade by IGI publication. Microfinance, Development Economics, Monetary Economics, and Public Finance are areas of expertise. To promote research among the upcoming young generation, Dr. Firdous at present is associated with specific international organizations viz. Young Scholars Initiative (YSI). He further keeps on contributing and promoting research by participating as a presenter and along with serving as session chair, review panelists in national and international conferences across the globe. For his tireless contribution to promoting young researchers, he has been awarded by the Jindal Center for Global South two best paper presentations and AIBPM Malaysian conference organizers as a best reviewer award in June 2023. Dr. Samriti Mahajan is an accomplished academician and industry professional with over 11+ years of experience in teaching, research, and administration. She currently serves as the Associate Professor and Head of Department in the School of Commerce & Management at Lingaya’s Vidyapeeth, Faridabad. Also, she holds a Ph.D. in Green Marketing, an MBA in Biotechnology, and a graduation degree in Biotechnology. Her areas of specialization include Digital Marketing, Strategy Marketing, Consumer Behavior, Brand Management, International Business. She has authored 2 books, more than 10 chapters, Case Study, 5 - design patents and 20 utility patents - Indian and International patents. Dr. Amna Javed , Senior Lecturer, Graduate School of Knowledge Science, Japan Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (JAIST), Japan. She teaches classes on social research methods, Next-Generation Management of Technology (MOT), Innovation Theory and Methodology for Social Competencies to Master and Doctoral course students. She has 6 doctoral course and 8 Master course students for minor research. She has 4 years of work experience in service science and 2 years of experience in transformative knowledge management. She has more than 15 papers in Scopus, more than 30 reputed international and domestic conferences, 1 eBook chapter by Springer, granted 12 research awards, and 12 project research fundings. She is affiliated with international conferences (ICIM, AHFE, and others) as session chair, co-chair, scientific advisory board member, and technical committee member. Right of withdrawal
If you are a consumer you can withdraw from the contract in accordance with the following. Consumer means any natural person who is acting for purposes which are outside his trade, business, craft or profession.
Information regarding the right of withdrawal
Statutory right to withdraw
You have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving any reason.
The withdrawal period will expire after 14 days from the day on which you acquire, or a third party other than the carrier and indicated by you acquires, physical possession of the last good or the last lot or piece.
To exercise the right of withdrawal, electronically fill in and submit a clear statement on our website, under "My Purchases" in "My Account". We will communicate to you an acknowledgement of receipt of such a withdrawal on a durable medium (e.g. by e-mail) without delay.
To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.
Effects of withdrawal
If you withdraw from this contract, we will reimburse to you all payments received from you, including the costs of delivery (except for the supplementary costs arising if you chose a type of delivery other than the least expensive type of standard delivery offered by us).
We may make a deduction from the reimbursement for loss in value of any goods supplied, if the loss is the result of unnecessary handling by you.
We will make the reimbursement without undue delay, and not later than 14 days after the day on which we are informed about your decision to withdraw from this contract.
We will make the reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of such reimbursement.
We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back, or you have supplied evidence of having sent back the goods, whichever is the earliest.
You shall send back the goods or hand them over to AHA-BUCH GmbH, Einbeck, Germany, without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which you communicate your withdrawal from this contract to us. The deadline is met if you send back the goods before the period of 14 days has expired. You will have to bear the direct cost of returning the goods. You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from the handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.
Exceptions to the right of withdrawal
The right of withdrawal does not apply to:
- The delivery of newspapers, journals or magazines with the exception of subscription contracts; and
- The supply of digital content which is not supplied on a tangible medium (e.g. on a CD or DVD) if you accepted when you placed your order that we could start to deliver it, and that you could not withdraw once delivery had started.
