Michael Angelino was forged in Vietnam and feared as The Machine. He buried that life, built a career, and tried to be a man instead of a weapon. Then the world burns again, and something inside him fractures. The blackouts start. The gaps in time. He wakes up with blood on his hands and no memory of how it got there.
While the FBI and CIA chase fragments and argue over jurisdiction, a mastermind fueled by vengeance, Zafeer El-Amin, positions his people for a follow-up strike designed to cripple America from the inside. It is not chaos. It is precision. And the pieces are already moving.
In Galveston, Brittany Abbey is simply trying to rebuild her life. One wrong encounter pulls her into the shadow of the operation, and suddenly she is holding the thread everyone needs. Because the whispers are getting louder, and the target is unthinkable. A small nuclear device may already be in play.
With the clock running down, Michael disappears off the grid. He is hunted by the Bureau, hunted by terrorists, and haunted by the darker self he worked his whole life to suppress. To stop what is coming, he may have to become The Machine again.
Resurrection is the explosive first book in The Machine series, packed with relentless pacing, high-stakes counterterror tension, and a hero who fights as hard against his own nature as he does against the enemy.
