Print on Demand. This book delves into the subject of resurrection in the New Testament, exploring the author's belief that it refers to the soul's transition out of death and into the afterlife, rather than the resurrection of the physical body. The author contends that this concept is central to the Christian faith and was deeply understood by the early church. Drawing on scriptural passages, the author argues that the resurrection is not some distant event, but rather an immediate reality for those who have found salvation in Christ. Through a detailed examination of key texts, the book sheds light on the transformative nature of the resurrection, emphasizing its power to liberate believers from the fear of death and empower them to live boldly in the present. Ultimately, this book provides a profound and thought-provoking exploration of the Christian understanding of resurrection, challenging traditional interpretations and offering fresh insights into the nature of life beyond death. This book is a reproduction of an important historical work, digitally reconstructed using state-of-the-art technology to preserve the original format. In rare cases, an imperfection in the original, such as a blemish or missing page, may be replicated in the book.…

The great importance of the subject, and the feeling he has that the prevalent notions on the subject of the Resurrection of the Dead are neither in themselves credible, nor in accordance with the teaching of the New Testament, lead the author to desire the publica tion of this book.
The Appendix, nearly as long as the preceding part of the book, is added, partly in defence of the teach ing already stated, but chiefly on its own account, for the importance of the things which are involved in what is set forth in it.
The author is one of those who think that the teachings of our Lord and His Apostles are often in our day very much obscured to us by the preconceived notions which we put into them, and by. Which we interpret them to ourselves. His object in this whole book will be accomplished if any receive any new light from it on the subjects spoken of.
