The Eternal Colony: Resurgence
Buried beneath Stonehenge for millennia… they waited.
When a violent earthquake tears open the Wiltshire countryside, ancient stones erupt from the earth, devastating the A303. Amid the chaos, survivors are drawn into a vast sinkhole—not by choice, but by an invisible force they cannot resist.
Reporter Ellen Vale follows eccentric farmer Henry Billington underground in search of his missing dog, Meg, unaware that something older than recorded history is herding the earthquake survivors into the dark. Beneath the British soil, an ancient species of arthropod known as the Sekta has awakened.
Trapped in a labyrinth of caverns and myth, the fractured groups must unite to stay alive.
Former soldier Mike embarks on a dangerous mission, while RAF pilot Lucy Cavener guides terrified civilians through the shadows. Meanwhile, young Jayden discovers that the very thing that sets him apart—his autism—may be the key to understanding the threat rising beneath their feet. Driven by stubborn determination, Henry finds his fractured mind might be his greatest asset.
Then there is Neo—a man who claims to be as old as Stonehenge itself. His knowledge of the caves is vast, and his interest in Ellen runs deep. If she cannot uncover his intentions, she may become lost for eternity.
As the Eternal Colony tightens its grip, one truth becomes undeniable: they have not been idle—and their resurgence will not end underground.
Resurgence is the first book in The Eternal Colony series. No cliffhanger—this story reaches a complete conclusion while planting seeds to expand the colony’s past, present, and the unknown beyond.
