Do you just need a really good rest?

When it comes to the subject of rest, it seems that we may have been missing the point… Life is frantic, but it’s not God who is standing over us, encouraging us to get busy. His desire is to lead us into a life that is productive, fruitful, beautiful and restful. Yet, so often we fight against Him.

LYNN SWART, Executve Director of New Day United – releasing fullness of life in Africa:

“Ems’ book offers us such kind, simple, but profound truths for life’s journey. Grab a cuppa, put your feet up and have a read. You’ll be encouraged and empowered!”

ANTHONY DELANEY, Leader, Ivy Network:

“This is not another book to help you win the rat race, but it could stop you becoming a rat!”

ABBY GUINNESS, Head of Spring Harvest Programme:

“Rest is invented by God and is essential. So do yourself a favour by reading this and be inspired to get your life in balance. You’ll be glad you did.”

Author Ems Hancock shares her realisation that God didn’t want her to be exhausted in order to tick off His to-do list in Heaven. He does not benefit from our last-minute panics and frenzied stress. REST is not a nice-to-have, additional extra in life. It is ESSENTIAL to your success. If you want to learn how rest can protect, maintain and lengthen whatever God has called you to do, this book has your name on it!
