Print on Demand. This book examines the concept of ministerial responsibility in constitutional monarchies, focusing on the distinction between illegal acts and the misuse of power. The author argues that illegal acts fall under the jurisdiction of ordinary courts, while the misuse of power, or 'responsibility', should be handled by representative assemblies. The book explores the nature of this responsibility, the limits of its application, and the process of holding ministers accountable. Ultimately, the author concludes that a clear understanding of ministerial responsibility is essential for the proper functioning of constitutional government, as it ensures that ministers are both accountable for their actions and protected from arbitrary accusations. This book is a reproduction of an important historical work, digitally reconstructed using state-of-the-art technology to preserve the original format. In rare cases, an imperfection in the original, such as a blemish or missing page, may be replicated in the book. …
