He’s her last line of defence
Security expert Matt Franklin doesn’t believe in second chances―not for his murderous father, and not for Texas heiress Erin Montgomery. Erin has spent years atoning for her criminal past. But when her violent ex returns, demanding the missing loot from their heist, Matt vows to stop him. Will Erin’s need to make amends risk her life―or destroy them both?
A hero’s second chance
When their teenage son runs away, former marine Blaine Everett reunites with his ex-wife Erin to find him. Two years post-divorce, working together tests their resolve―and their hearts. About the Author
Multi-award-winning suspense author Leslie Marshman uses her psychology degree to get inside the heads of her characters and figure out what makes them tick. She writes novels that feature strong heroines, the heroes who love 'em, and the bad guys who fear 'em. Leslie called Denver home until she married a Texan without reading the fine print. Visit her at www.lesliemarshman.com.
Justine Davis lives on Puget Sound in Washington State, watching big ships and the occasional submarine go by, and sharing the neighborhood with assorted wildlife, including a pair of bald eagles, deer, a bear or two, and a tailless raccoon. In the few hours when she's not planning, plotting, or writing her next book, her favorite things are photography, knitting her way through a huge yarn stash, and driving her restored 1967 Corvette roadster―top down, of course.
