Contractor management has become an essential component of operational success, risk mitigation, and regulatory compliance across industries. As hiring clients place increasing demands on their contractors, understanding the expectations and the reasons behind them in the context of safety is more important than ever. This book offers insights into the evolving landscape of contractor engagement.
This book, which is the first of its kind, delivers a structured and practical guide covering every stage of contractor safety management, from selection, prequalification, and onboarding, to assessments, training, incident prevention and investigation, and much more. Each chapter presents practical guidance based on real-world applications, with attention given to the growing role of AI and future trends. The key benefit for the reader is a better understanding of how to meet client requirements with confidence, while strengthening long-term professional relationships and ensuring that safety is at the forefront of the relationship.
Resilient Contractor Safety Management is designed for contractors who require guidance on safety management. This book can also help hiring clients with valuable insights into how to establish and nurture productive relationships with their contractors. Additionally, it will appeal to subcontractors, project managers, procurement professionals, compliance officers, and anyone involved in contractor oversight.
