48 pp, libray markings, later half leather rubbed and worn but still sound and original front cover of paper wrappers retained; the time has come to cast off the aristocratic influence that has kept Washington from becoming a center for trade and commerce, in these days such sentiments are out of place ; a good port could easily be established, new railroad connections are being made, allegations that the city is unhealthy are groundless, excellent dwellings for the laboring man are easily available for a little as twelve dollars a month, etc. etc. - If you are reading this, this item is actually (physically) in our stock and ready for shipment once ordered.
