Print on Demand. This book is an investigation into the historic controversy between the Orthodox Patriarch and members of his Synod in Jerusalem. It explores the Patriarchate of Jerusalem's origins in the early Church and its evolution into one of the most venerable institutions in Christendom. At its heart is the dispute between the Patriarch and the majority of his Synod over the governance of the Patriarchate and how to relieve its precarious financial situation.
