Mr Christopher Anderson is a Consultant Urological Surgeon with a specialist interest in Renal and Prostate cancer. He has particular expertise in minimally invasive surgical approaches. He was an early adopter of laparoscopy and also an integral member of the team of Urologists who pioneered robotic surgery introducing it to the UK in 2005. He was the first surgeon to perform Laparoscopic Cryotherapy in the UK in 2004 and accrued a large cohort of such patients with long term follow up. He completed his undergraduate training at Stellenbosch University and his postgraduate training at Cape Town University South Africa and commenced a substantive Consultant post at St George's University Hospital in London in 1999. His early training in Laparoscopy and Robotic surgery took him on fellowships to Cleveland Clinic (Ohio), Jackson Memorial Hospital (Miami) and Henry Ford Hospital (Detroit) as well as University Hospital of Leipzig (Germany). In the early years of Laparoscopicdevelopment He was a Trainer at Laparoscopic courses in Germany at Aesculap Academy Tuttlingen and Charite Hospital Berlin where he trained numerous UK and European Urologists. He was subsequently a Proctor to many UK Urologists in the field of Robotics. He has numerous peer review publications to his name and is an active clinical researcher in his field. He is a high volume surgeon and has built up a comprehensive tertiary referral Renal Cancer Service at St Georges Hospital. He is a passionate family man with whom he enjoys his musical and sporting interests.
Dr Mehran Afshar, PhD, MB BS(Lond), MRCP(UK), PGDip(Onc), is a consultant oncologist at St George's University Hospitals, London, UK, specializing in the management of urological malignancies; he is also the Clinical Lead for Acute Oncology Services and Lead for Undergraduate Education in Oncology. He is an honorary Senior Lecturer at St Georges, University of London. He studied medicineat Barts & The Royal London School of Medicine and Dentistry, London (MBBS 2001), and completed his PhD in urologic oncology at Warwick University, Warwick, UK. Dr Afshar’s research interests include big data research, cancer informatics, biomarkers in cancer, and psycho-oncology, focusing on prostate, bladder, kidney, and penile cancers. He believes in a multi-faceted approach to cancer research and the care of the patient with cancer, integrating scientific, holistic, and technological interventions into an overarching therapeutic paradigm. He currently has over 50 publications and international presentations in his specialist fields. A number of his clinical works have achieved national and international acclaim with over 400 press articles in news outlets across 4 continents.

If you use this option, we will communicate to you an acknowledgement of receipt of such a cancellation on a durable medium (e.g. by e-mail) without delay.
To meet the cancellation deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right to cancel before the cancellation period has expired.
Effects of cancellation
If you cancel this contract, we will reimburse to you all payments received from you, including the costs of delivery (except for the supplementary costs arising if you chose a type of delivery other than the least expensive type of standard delivery offered by us).
We may make a deduction from the reimbursement for loss in value of any goods supplied, if the loss is the result of unnecessary handling by you.
We will make the reimbursement without undue delay, and not later than 14 days after the day on which we are informed about your decision to cancel with contract.
We will make the reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of such reimbursement.
We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back or you have supplied evidence of having sent back the goods, whichever is the earliest.

The deadline is met if you send back the goods before the period of 14 days has expired. You will have to bear the direct cost of returning the goods. You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from the handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.
