Paperback. In a world where the balance of magic teeters on the edge of destruction, an ancient evil stirs once more. The Seelie, Unseelie, and Underworld Courts have long ruled in harmony, but when a dark presence returns, wielding a dark power long thought to be sealed away, the realms are thrust into chaos. With the corrupted fey at its command and an insatiable hunger for vengeance, the dark presence seeks to tear the courts apart and reshape the world in its image. Prince Faelric of the Seelie Court and his bonded, Dareven of the Unseelie Court, embark on a perilous journey into the Outerlands in search of the Relic of Corruption, the source of the newfound power. Alongside the fierce and independent Seliana, they must decipher ancient runes, navigate deadly fey-infested lands, and uncover the long-lost truths of the realms. But as the battle for the fate of all fey draws near, Faelric must make an impossible choice, one that will redefine who he is and what he is destined to become. For power is never given freely, and the price of salvation may be more than he is willing to pay. With the might of the Seelie and Unseelie Courts behind them and the guidance of the powerful Archfey, Faelric, Dareven, and Seliana must stand together in a final confrontation against an enemy fueled by darkness. But will their combined strength be enough to stop a force as ancient as time itself? The war for the realms has begun, and only one truth remains: magic is never without consequence.
