His arrests include members of the mafia and terrorist organizations. He's never thought twice about choosing a career filled with extraordinary danger over a nine-to-five job and the possibility of marriage until he spots the most beautiful woman he's ever seen eating an ice cream cone in Boston Commons. He can't get her out of his mind. Intelligent, direct, and free-spirited, Willow Randolph astonished her family and friends when she turned away from a pro career with the WNBA to pursue her doctorate in education. She believes her years of athletic training have prepared her to handle any unexpected event until she meets this devilishly handsome law enforcement officer. She's swept off her feet and out of her ordinary world. While together, they're lost in each other's arms, not realizing peril is knocking on the door. With bullets flying, Zane leaves Willow behind to keep her safe. Will this determined woman go along with his plan Or will she risk everything to be with him. …
