Escaping the nightmare of emotional abuse by her father, Carrie finds herself shackled in an even more dangerous relationship.
On the run again, she is terrified and bruised. She makes her escape to a small town where no one will know her past. Alone and vulnerable, she is rescued by perhaps the only man who can protect her from those committed to find her. For the first time, Carrie finds herself as part of an extended family and circle of friends where love is unconditional. She finds a new sense of how her life could be.
But a powerful gang believes she knows too much. When a phone call exposes her, violent men arrive to drag her back to Chicago. Can her new friends protect her or will she be forced into the same violent cycle of abuse that has held her captive her entire life?
This suspenseful thriller is not your typical Christian novel. It is a riveting, can't-put-down novel that demonstrates how God can break the generational chains of abuse with his love, mercy and intervention. It is a book that will keep you on the edge of your seat.
If you like page-turning Christian thrillers, then you'll love this powerful novel by Ralph Nelson Willett! Buy The Release: Escape from Torment and begin your experience today.
