When contemplating the concept of relationships, we inadvertently default towards the human form, while overlooking its various other dimensions. When engaged, these often-forgotten variants exhibit powerful influence and challenge us to explore and appreciate relationships’ many universal laws. Within this volume of poetry, Williams attempts to enlighten you with this same awareness, conveying how we all co-exist in a relationship-oriented universe governed by unwavering principles, which determine our harmonious or rather hectic existence. If intrigued, journey between the covers of this book and a vast world of relationships will be revealed. Those you may know well, but for others, you may feel the need to alter your approach so your next encounter with them is nothing less than optimal.
A poem is the very image of life expressed in its eternal truth. —“A Defense of Poetry,” Percy Bysshe Shelley, 1792-1822
Fred Williams is a former serving Canadian military member who now spends his post-military years writing inspirational poetry. He has already authored one self-published book of poetry entitled, Gifts From Heaven. When he is not writing, he enjoys volunteering within his community and keeping physically and mentally active. He lives with his wife, Maria, in Canada’s capital city, Ottawa, Ontario.
