Do you feel like you’re always on the outside looking in — afraid to speak up, invisible in a room full of people, silently waiting to be rejected?
You’re not alone. And it doesn’t have to stay this way.Rejection Reset is a complete, step-by-step program for anyone who has let the fear of rejection run their life — quietly sabotaging relationships, careers, and the very dreams they’re afraid to admit they have.
Millions of people carry the hidden weight of rejection sensitivity without knowing it. Every time someone cancels plans, gives critical feedback, or simply doesn’t respond, that internal alarm fires. You read rejection into neutral interactions. You hold back. You shrink. And the cycle deepens.
The real damage isn’t just the rejection itself. Psychologist Guy Winch has shown that rejection triggers the same brain regions as physical pain — and we often make it worse with a spiral of negative self-talk that becomes a form of self-rejection.
This book breaks that cycle.
In Rejection Reset, bestselling author Scott Allan delivers a shame-free, action-based framework built on 20 years of personal experience and research into mindset mastery. This isn’t therapy or abstract theory. It’s a practical playbook you can start using today.
Inside, you’ll learn how to:
- Take immediate action against the fear of rejection and feel genuinely confident again
- Identify and disarm the specific triggers that keep you stuck in a cycle of self-defeat
- Reverse disempowering beliefs and replace them with a mindset built for connection
- Overcome jealousy, inferiority, and feelings of inadequacy — without pretending they don’t exist
- Stop measuring your worth by other people’s reactions
- Build real, lasting social confidence across relationships, work, and daily interactions
- Master the 6-step process for permanent change so you don’t slip back into old patterns
- Implement the 12-habit reset strategy to lock in your progress for the long term
What makes Rejection Reset different?
Scott Allan isn’t a distant academic — he’s someone who has lived through the same shame spiral, the same quiet self-defeat, and found a real way out. This book was written from the inside, not the outside.
The result is a program that meets you exactly where you are: no judgment, no psychobabble, no overnight promises. Just clear, proven strategies that build on each other chapter by chapter — until living rejection-free feels like your natural state.
Whether you’re recovering from a painful breakup, rebuilding confidence after being passed over at work, or simply exhausted from spending your life on the edge of other people’s approval — Rejection Reset gives you the tools, the framework, and the courage to start over.

Store description
In 2002, World of Books Group was founded on an ethos to do good, protect the planet and support charities by enabling more goods to be reused. Since then, we've grown into to a global company pioneering the circular economy. Today, we drive the circular economy through three re-commerce brands: - Wob: Through Wob, we sell. We provide affordable, preloved books and media to customers all over the world. A book leaves our collection of over seven million titles and begins a new chapter every two seconds, enabling more goods to be reused. - Ziffit: Through Ziffit, we buy. We give people around the world the opportunity to contribute to the circular economy, earn money and protect the planet, by trading their unwanted books and media. - Shopiago: Through Shopiago, we help others. By sharing the technology that has grown World of Books Group into the business it is today, we’re helping charities increase revenue and reduce waste through re-commerce.…
