In an era defined by rapid technological advancement, socio-economic disruptions, and heightened awareness of sustainability, organizations and societies alike face an intricate web of challenges. This book brings together diverse scholarly perspectives that explore the human, environmental, and systemic aspects of development across sectors.
The book explores critical issues such as workforce engagement, mental health, entrepreneurial barriers, climate change, healthcare transformation, event management, and the digital economy. It examines the impact of leadership and rewards on performance, as well as the role of English proficiency in multicultural workplaces, showcasing how human-centric and sustainable practices are transforming traditional organizational models. The book underscores the importance of aligning human resource strategies with Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), Triple Bottom Line (TBL) principles, and Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) frameworks. It investigates how innovations in technology, policy, and organizational behaviour can address challenges in rural development, gender inclusion, ecological responsibility, and service delivery. Featuring empirical insights, case studies, and strategic frameworks, this resource offers a multidimensional perspective on turning contemporary challenges into opportunities for inclusive growth, resilience, and innovation.
Part of the Contemporary Management Practices series, this book will be of interest to students and researchers of Human Resource Management, Human Resource Development, Organizational Studies and Business, Management and Marketing.
