Our Lives, Our Fortunes, and Our Sacred Honor Political polarization and economic and social uncertainties in the United States today provide fertile ground for Peter Frey's informative, well researched, and fair-minded book Reimagining Our American Republic: Commonsense Ideas for Uncommon Times. After educating readers about the background and history of the critical issues affecting the country on topics such as education, voting rights, healthcare, and defence, the author offers detailed proposals on how we can restructure our government while fulfilling the intentions of the Founding Fathers. An outgrowth of the author's highly successful program at the Aspen Institute, this book will have wide appeal for readers wanting to understand the complexities behind the issues we face today and what can be done to move our country forward. Frey's practical proof that there are judicious solutions at hand will energize readers, encourage discussion, and inspire anyone who is eager for fresh ideas, change, and making positive impact on our country during these historical times.
