Michael J. Enright, a leading expert on competitiveness, regional economic development, and international business strategy, is Sun Hung Kai Professor and Director of the Asia–Pacific Competitiveness Program at the University of Hong Kong. He has directed major reviews of the competitiveness of more than 20 economies on five continents and has co–authored books or monographs on the competitiveness of Hong Kong, New Zealand, Switzerland, Venezuela, and Canada. He has advised numerous multilateral organizations, governments, and firms, and has appeared in more than 30 countries as an invited speaker.
Edith E. Scott is Managing Director of Enright, Scott & Associates Ltd., a strategy consulting firm based in Hong Kong. She advises governments and corporations on competitiveness, regional development, and international investment in Greater China and the Asia–Pacific.
