Reflections on the True Shakespeare, 2016, 258 pages. New The book offers 25 years of research into the case for Edward de Vere, 17th Earl of Oxford, as William Shakespeare, written by the editor of three peer reviewed journals: The Elizabethan Review (1993-2001), Brief Chronicles (1999-2011) and The Oxfordian (2017-2025). Investigates the vocabulary found in Oxford's letters and early poetry to those used in Shakespeare's plays and poems, the Bard's use of foreign languages (French, Italian, Greek, etc.) in the plays, his use of local dialect (e.g., Essex dialect), and how other writers viewed the authorship issue, including James Joyce.
