This was number 7 in the publication line put out by the Sacramento Book Collector's Club. This copy is in beautifully fine condition with the grey linen spine in immaculate shape with the paper label unblemished. The decorated cloth boards are in near perfect condition without any flaws to mention. The interior text is in fine condition . Frederick Lowe was the ninth governor of California and this book reprints his story and his recollections of early California as he gave them to the historian H.H. Bancroft.
