Paperback. THE RAMPLY MANSION MYSTERY For centuries, Ramply Mansion has stood as a monument to wealth and power-until the Duke of Ramply is found murdered inside his locked study, plunging the estate into a chilling murder investigation. DCI Richard Raven investigates for a year, but the killer remains beyond his reach. The Duke's fortune and title conceal a web of betrayal, and suspicion falls on those closest to him-from his shrewd children and vengeful ex-wife to his opportunistic adviser and the financiers holding his debt. Yet influence and privilege prevent Raven from turning suspicion into proof. The case goes cold, so Raven enlists retired DCI John Hammond. Together, they revisit the evidence through cutting-edge forensic science, uncovering connections deliberately concealed behind layers of deception. Every link has been engineered for plausible deniability, leaving the truth buried beneath a polished fiction. But solving the murder is only the beginning. To secure a conviction, Raven and Hammond must turn scientific discoveries into evidence capable of surviving a ruthless legal process. Every procedure must withstand scrutiny. Every forensic finding must stand up in court. And every link in the chain of evidence must be proven beyond reasonable doubt. As science collides with power, privilege and legal strategy, Raven and Hammond face their ultimate test: can the clinical physics of forensic justice dismantle an empire of wealth, or will the truth remain concealed forever? THE RAMPLY MANSION MYSTERY
For centuries, Ramply Mansion has stood as a monument to wealth and power—until the Duke of Ramply is found murdered inside his locked study, plunging the estate into a chilling murder investigation.
DCI Richard Raven investigates for a year, but the killer remains beyond his reach. The Duke’s fortune and title conceal a web of betrayal, and suspicion falls on those closest to him—from his shrewd children and vengeful ex-wife to his opportunistic adviser and the financiers holding his debt.
