Add to basketIn the era of precision medicine, the demand for smart and targeted drug delivery technologies is greater than ever. Redox-responsive delivery systems represent a cutting-edge approach that exploits the unique oxidative and reductive environments of diseased tissues to achieve site-specific therapeutic action.
This comprehensive volume brings together foundational knowledge, recent innovations, and application-specific insights into redox-sensitive systems used for drug, gene and vaccine delivery. The book covers a wide range of carriers―including polymersomes, liposomes, nanoparticles, micelles, prodrugs and dendrimers―highlighting their utility across various therapeutic landscapes, including cancer, neurodegenerative diseases, metabolic disorders, infectious diseases and gene editing platforms like CRISPR-Cas9.
Key Features:
Ideal for pharmaceutical scientists, nanotechnologists, biomedical researchers and healthcare innovators, this book serves as a definitive guide to one of the most promising frontiers in drug delivery science.
Harness redox biology to revolutionize how therapeutics are delivered―safely, smartly and effectively.
