4to. Cloth spine, printed paper boards. Unpaginated, Eight full page hand-colored moveable plates telling the story of Red Riding Hood . All moveables are in good working order. Inner hinges have been neatly repaired, and a few rivets have been replaced; there is fingering and soil on the pages, the covers are rubbed and worn .Overall it is a very good copy of an extremely scarce early moveable. Montanaro, p. 259, opines that this was probably published in 1857. Our copy has an inscription dated 1861. . Seller Inventory # 22101
