Huey Long and Eugene Talmadge opened the way up for George Wallace, Lester Maddox and Georgia's also beloved Herman Talmadge. The author was also a professional politician; first an Atlanta attorney, and then the Assistant General of Georgia under three administrations. Book is in excellent condition: clean and remarkably tight (for its age), no foxing, white slick pages, no markings. 269 pages, with a two page addenda. Dust Jacket has very minor edge wear, and a small closed tear at top of spine. Very nice color to jacket with no fading and very minor light soiling to back panel of jacket.
