Steganography employing pictures, video clips and sounds is more preferred over the text steganography due to the difficulty in finding redundant bits in text document. The present work highlights the method for reconstruction of the printed document using text based steganography. This method may be used for reconstruction of documents which might have been destroyed due to various reasons. In this method, the text information present in the document is extracted and encoded into symbols followed by embedding these symbols into the document multiple numbers of times without affecting the integrity of the document.
