Captain Gerber goes cross-border hunting in Laos – to clip Soviet wings…
Vietnam, 1968
Something big is going on in the Three Rivers Secret Zone in Laos. Several Special Forces reconnaissance teams infiltrated to monitor the increased NVA activity have been ambushed and disappeared.
A rescue mission finds the remains of one recon patrol – alongside the body of a Soviet paratrooper. It can mean only one thing: the Russians have an active military presence in the area.
U.S. Army Special Forces Captain Mack Gerber and Master Sergeant Anthony B. Fetterman are sent in to blow the lid off Moscow’s claim that there are no Soviet advisers working with the NVA.
But if they are to survive, Gerber and his men will have to rely on every single bit of combat savvy they possess … as well as the biggest factor of all: luck. Lots of it.
RECON is the twenty-seventh book in the Vietnam: Ground Zero series: action-packed, authentic historical thrillers following an American Special Forces Squad as they fight to survive during the brutal Vietnam War.
