Item description from seller

Covers have minor wear and soil. Corners and ends of spine lightly rounded. Binding tight. No writing. 96 pages. Once you get past the lacy designs, identifying how it was made can be confusing and overwhelming. This book explains the various types of machine lace and how they are made. The machines are identified along with the types of lace they make. The second section explains firm indications, less firm indications, contra indications and things that are not at all helpful in identifying the lace. The last section shows handmade lace and the machines that imitate them. The book is illustrated in black and white. Size: 7.5 x 9.75.
