Print on Demand. This book explores the historical, social, and ethical dimensions of an often-overlooked topic: the right to die. The author, drawing upon perspectives from natural philosophy, religion, and sociology, argues that euthanasia should be considered under certain circumstances—specifically, when it is clear that both the individual and society would benefit from it. Informed by a humanist perspective, this book argues that we should consider expanding the right of individual autonomy to include the right to end one's own life with dignity when faced with unbearable and incurable pain. This timely and provocative book's philosophical and practical insights will challenge your perspective on assisted dying andeuthanasia. This book is a reproduction of an important historical work, digitally reconstructed using state-of-the-art technology to preserve the original format. In rare cases, an imperfection in the original, such as a blemish or missing page, may be replicated in the book.…
