About the Author
Capullo’s distinctive style features bold lines and intricate detail. He has the ability to capture the essence of characters and bring them to life through his illustrations. His work on Batman, in particular, has received widespread critical acclaim, earning him numerous Eisner Awards and cementing his position as one of the top comic book artists in the industry.
In addition to his work on Batman, Capullo has also collaborated with writer Todd McFarlane on the creation of the iconic comic book series, Spawn. Capullo’s artwork on Spawn has garnered high praise and earned him multiple awards, including a Harvey Award. His collaborative work with McFarlane is considered one of the best partnerships in the comic book industry and has continued for many years.
With a career spanning over three decades, Greg Capullo has made an indelible mark on the comic book industry and continues to inspire new generations of artists and fans.. Jonathan Glapion began his comics career in 1998 at Todd McFarlane Productions inking Sam and Twitch, and various other titles including Spawn. Jonathan has inked Marvel’s Elektra: The Hand, Gravity and Ultimate X-Men, as well as a wide variety of DC titles like, Batman Spawn, The New 52 Batman, Dark Nights: Metal and Death Metal, Wonder Woman, and Last Knight on Earth. He also inked the Netflix Series Reborn and Comixology’s We Have Demons. He has since shifted his focus to creating his own projects and has illustrated covers for Spawn, King Spawn, Gunslinger Spawn, and Radiant Black. Most recently, Jonathan illustrated the comic Patient Number 9 with Todd McFarlane for Ozzy Osbourne’s Grammy Award Winning Patient Number 9 album and Jonathan’s art was animated for the official music visualizers for each song on the album. Jonathan is now fully illustrating his own book with Todd McFarlane Productions, No Home Here, co-created with fellow inker turned writer, Daniel Henriques.
Multi award-winning writer Mark Millar is the writer of JUPITER'S LEGACY from Image Comics, which he co-created with artist Frank Quitely. Also at Image, his WANTED comic series was the industry's biggest-selling creator-owned book of the last ten years until he smashed his own record with KICK-ASS, each issue selling more than Spider-Man and X-Men from issue one with an unprecedented five printings every issue. Both properties were sold as movies before the first issue hit the stands and everything Millar has ever created is in various stages of theatrical development. Wanted starred Angelina Jolie and James McAvoy. Kick-Ass stars actor Nicolas Cage.
In addition to WANTED and KICK-ASS, Millar has revamped the X-Men, launched a number one Spider-Man title, brought Captain America into the 21st Century and made Superman a communist.
Greg Capullo is a renowned comic book artist, known for his dynamic style and attention to detail. Born in Schenectady, New York, Capullo’s passion for drawing and creating comics began at a young age. He started his career working for smaller publishers before landing a job at Marvel Comics, where he worked on titles such as X-Force and Quasar. He later moved to rival company DC Comics, where he achieved his greatest success as the primary artist for the critically acclaimed Batman series in collaboration with writer Scott Snyder.
