Synopsis:

DON'T EVER LET SOMEONE COUNT YOU OUT.

Life can change in an instant. For twenty-year-old Aaron Baker, not only did a neck injury leave him paralyzed from the chin down-it also nearly killed him. The doctors told him he'd never feed himself again.

Until he did.

Instead of giving up, Aaron went all in and rebelliously achieved things he was told would never be possible.

The Rebellious Recovery follows Aaron on a mind-expanding, odds-defying journey from quadriplegic to inspirational figure riding a bicycle across the country-twice-training for the Paralympics, starting a business and a family, and more.

The emotional story of failure, success, heartbreak and accomplishment has something for every reader.

From Aaron's story, we see an optimistic truth: even on the darkest days, we hold the power in our minds to overcome anything.

What will you do when life happens to you? Follow Aaron in this memoir and see how opportunities rise from ashes.

Are you ready for the ride of your life?

About the Author: In 1999, as a professional motocross athlete, Aaron Baker sustained a career ending spinal cord injury. He fractured cervical vertebrae 4,5,6 rendering him a quadriplegic, paralyzed from the chin down. He was given a "one in a million" chance of ever feeding himself again. From the onset of his injury, his focus was on rebuilding and redefining life. He became a student of the mind and body, and mastered a set of fundamental tools he uses and teaches daily. Today, he is a recovering quadriplegic husband, father, adventure athlete, author, orator, entrepreneur and ambassador for spinal cord injury. He co-founded the Center Of Restorative Exercise and represents Red Bull's non-profit charity - Wings For Life Foundation as a member of the Board Of Directors, USA and Chairman of the Ambassador Council. He also sits on the Board of Directors for Los Angeles based non-profit, Artists For Trauma and is the Spinal Cord Injury Lifestyle Specialist and author for Shield Healthcare, Permobil, Boost Oxygen, Sno-Go, and contributor for the Huffington Post.
