This item is printed on demand - it takes 3-4 days longer - Neuware -In this novel, the author stages the inner world of an elderly man during the final days before his death in a hospice. It's not presented as a tragedy, but rather as a documentary drama, full of moving flashbacks and powerful emotions. A vivid and authentic portrait of this man emerges, pieced together like a mosaic of formative experiences, starting from the very end of his life. Readers witness a dignified farewell, the kind one would wish for on their deathbed. It's an inspiring story that delves deeply into a topic often treated as taboo in our society. The novel opens with an outline of the dying protagonist's medical history, and we experience his growing awareness of his impending death in the oncology ward. The main plot unfolds with his admission to a geriatric clinic and subsequently to a hospice. Over the course of a few weeks, readers witness the physical, neurological, and psychological changes he undergoes, culminating in his feelings as his mental faculties decline. The story concludes with his realistically depicted death. 108 pp. Englisch.…
