Add to basketShe kept his son a secret. He came home carrying scars she never knew about. Neither of them expected love to ask for a second chance.
Five years ago, Lena Hart made one impossible decision that changed three lives forever.
Believing she was protecting the man she loved, she walked away without telling Gavin Steele that she was carrying his child.
Now Gavin is home. A decorated former Army Ranger with scars that run far deeper than anyone can see, he is trying to build a new life after war. The last thing he expects is to walk into a small-town bakery and come face to face with the woman who shattered his heart... and the little boy with his eyes.
Everything he believed about the past is suddenly called into question.
As old wounds reopen, painful truths come to light, and years of regret collide with feelings that never truly disappeared. Gavin must decide if he can forgive the woman who broke him, while Lena must face the consequences of the secret she has carried for far too long.
But the biggest surprise of all is a bright-eyed little boy who refuses to let two people meant for each other stay apart.
Filled with unforgettable emotion, heartfelt romance, tender family moments, and a hero whose fierce love knows no limits, **The Real Wild Card** is a powerful story about forgiveness, redemption, and discovering that sometimes the greatest second chance comes wrapped in the smallest hands.
If you love protective alpha heroes, secret child romance, second chance love stories, emotional reunions, and uplifting happily-ever-afters that leave your heart completely full, then you will not be able to put this book down.
One heartbreaking secret. One little boy. One love that never truly ended.
